A Rustic and Romantic Wedding

This rustic DIY wedding was full of love and community. Set at top of a hill just north of Cloverdale, you couldn’t ask for a more picturesque Sonoma view.

It fills a special little place in my heart when  a friend asks me to photograph their wedding. Todd and I had been coworkers when I worked at Trader Joe’s and, even though we hadn’t spoken for a while, I was pleasantly surprised to receive a facebook message from him asking if I could document their wedding. 

I knew Todd as a fun coworker, always friendly and interesting to chat with, but throughout the planning I had the pleasure of getting to know Lauren as well. I don’t think I have ever met anyone kinder or more thoughtful. The love and commitment that these two have for each other is also witnessed in the strength of their friendships. The feeling of community was present through all parts of their celebration. It was a perfect day celebrating an amazing couple.
