Gabrielle and Bruce | Admiral’s Mansion Wedding | Mare Island | September 19, 2015

Who could say no to home brewed beer and “experimentations for wedding fare”?

I certainly couldn’t!

Especially when the experiment was a grilled tri-tip dinner with real, homemade, german potato salad and artichokes. Yum! These two win for best client meeting of 2015!

Gabrielle and Bruce are the perfect hosts, whether it’s a small dinner to meet their photographer or a wedding for 100 of their closest friends and family. Their welcoming spirit and big hearts are made even more apparent by the love and friendship that surrounded them on their wedding day.

Gabrielle and Bruce are both musicians and it was this common trait that brought them together. Gabrielle’s ring was even specially made for her to be able to play the violin without removing it.

Bruce is a trombonist and had a few of his friends play during the ceremony. This was a first for me, but what a fun way to add some flair to your vows!

We snuck away for a few portraits out in the shipyard and nearby park. I couldn’t get enough of this beautiful brick warehouse against the teal doors.

The entire day was meticulously planned by the bride. Gabrielle’s menu was fine tuned to perfection and the beer, brewed by Bruce, was a big hit.  Their guests enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere, chatting and playing bocce ball under the warmth of the late summer sun.
