Afternoon in the life of an Oakland Family
When I arrived at Ji and Ken’s home they were out in the yard taking care of some weeds. I loved this, it let me know they would be super chill with having a camera follow them for a few hours of their weekend.
Self professed home bodies, this family loves to relax together on the weekends. Bubbles, ball pits and a bit of screen time are how they like to unwind from the week. It was a perfect, laid back afternoon. Plus, what weekend would be complete without a trip to the ice cream shop? Splendid is a really cool spot with some amazing flavors. It’s so much fun watching them make your ice cream fresh with their dry ice technique. If you live in the Bay Area, you should definitely check it out!Â
