I don’t know about you, but my family’s Christmas traditions are some of my favorite memories from my childhood. I remember making cookies with my mom, rolling the dough between my hands to make the perfect circle to place on the pan for baking. (I was a perfectionist from a young age! haha) We would all decorate the tree together, sharing stories and memories of where the ornaments are from. Every year, my dad would lift me up so I could put the angel on top of the tree on Christmas eve night before we went to bed, even when I was a full grown adult.
These are just a few of the many little memories that come back to me every Christmas season and make it such a beloved holiday in my life. Now that I’m grown, I wish there were more photos taken of these memories when we were small.
